
Dr. Raz completed his undergraduate studies at Hebrew University in Jerusalem in 1979. He was trained in psychology and human neuroscience at the University of Texas at Austin. and received his Ph.D. in 1985. Dr. Raz's research focuses on the neural correlates and modifiers of cognitive aging. His research has been continuously supported since 1993 by the National Institute on Aging.

The Thesis of Brendan Creutz in Mathematics has been accepted by the Dissertation Committee.
You are therefore cordially invited to the Oral Defense of Brendan Creutz's Ph.D. Thesis: "Explicit second ρ-descent on elliptic curves".
The oral defense will take place on Monday, 30 August 2010 - 10:00 hrs Place: Lecture Hall in Research II.

All undergraduate students will enjoy a mandatory communication workshop led by professional trainers from leading universities and industry. Upon arrival, your communication skills and attitudes will be measured. Then, you will be assigned to one of several training rooms. In the training, you will practice your own communication skills as to benefit your academic, professional and social life. At the end of the workshop you will be asked to answer a few questionnaires to assess the effectiveness of the workshop, as well as two months later.
