NWERC 2010

The Northwestern European Regional Programming Contest (NWERC) is one of several regional preliminaries in the largest and most prestgious student programming competition of the world: the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest. NWERC draws students from colleges and universities throughout Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Great Britain, Ireland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Germany.

NWERC 2010 at Jacobs University welcomes 67 contesting teams with three students each plus 50 coaches and an international jury of eight. The winning team will advance to the ACM Programming Contest World Finals in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, in February 2011. In addition to the actual contest, NWERC 2010 offers two expert talks by representatives of Google and Volkswagen.
