Exploring German Culture and Society (Funded by the DAAD)
Do you want to get in touch with your host country Germany and discover the intricacies of its society and political system? Then join in for the great variety of excursions and activities offered under the auspices of "Exploring German Culture and Society!" The program includes diverse offers on the Jacobs campus, but also takes students off campus for cultural events and sightseeing. It is generously funded partly by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and partly through the PROFIN project.
Some activities are designed specifically to offer students the opportunity to practice their German language skills: In an informal environment and with fellow international students they can apply what they have learned in the classroom – according to all levels of proficiency. The language instructors accompany the trips and organize several events on campus.
You will find an event list and calendar on the registration website.
