“Research-Oriented Learning
University didactic concepts: International Perspectives”
The linkage between knowledge transfer and research has recently gained much prominence in higher education discourse. Responding to the great need for exchange of viewpoints and practical experience in the field, the University of Bremen, Jacobs University Bremen as well as the University of Oldenburg have taken the initiative: Jointly, they are organizing the NOWETAS conference on “Research-Oriented Learning – University-didactic Concepts, International Perspectives.” The transdisciplinary conference will take place from November 3 to November 5, 2010 at all three institutions.
Generously supported by the NOWETAS Foundation, the symposium offers a series of lectures by experts from Germany, Switzerland, the UK and the US. Offered a forum for dialogue, the participants will receive an insight into diverse (research-oriented) teaching methods.
