Sports meets CultureS

The International Fair and Sports meets Culture are two events that take place together every year in mid September and are organized by students together with the Department of Campus Activities and Intercultural Affairs. Students from many different cultures present their home countries’ food, traditional clothes, dances and many other things. Moreover, alongside the International Fair at Sports meets Culture, local - and Jacobs University sport clubs such as Eastern European Dance Club and Martial Arts take the opportunity to present their various talents to a big audience.

Die Jacobs University veranstaltet in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Kreissportbund einen bunten Nachmittag unter dem Motto „Sports meets CultureS“, an dem die Besucher ein attraktiver Mix aus Sportvorführungen, Gesangs- und Tanzperformances erwartet. Neben Kaffee, Kuchen und Gegrilltem wird auch mit exotischen Leckerbissen für das leibliche Wohl gesorgt: Die internationalen Jacobs-Studierenden bieten im Rahmen der „International Fair“ Kostproben traditioneller Speisen aus ihren Heimatländern an. Start der Veranstaltung ist 14 Uhr. Der Eintritt ist frei; Parkplätze sind vorhanden.
